Degree Audit Report (DARS)

DARS is the degree audit tool used for verification of University core curriculum, program, minor, and interdisciplinary study requirements that is used for advising as well as for final certification. The audit provides a dynamic report showing all courses required for the student to graduate with their declared majors, minors and interdisciplinary studies to enhance their degree and program planning. The audit includes how all transfer and CSU courses count towards the student’s degree.

Faculty and Staff can access a student’s degree audit through ARIESweb.

To do so:

  • Log into ARIESweb
  • Look up the student
  • Click on the "Degree Audit Report (Request New) –Undergraduate" link under the Advisor Student Tools section.
  • Click on the "Run Audit" button to run an audit for the student’s current declared major(s) and minor(s), or click on the "What-If?" button and select the desired program to run an audit for a different major than their declared major.
  • Click on the "view submitted audits" link.
  • Click on the student’s major under the View section to open the audit.
  • Requirement sections listed in green with a check mark have been completed, and those listed in red with an “X” have not been completed. Sections not completed will list all courses/requirements the student will need to complete to fulfill the section.

  • Courses the student is registered for (in progress /IP courses) will show on the audit in the sections they will fulfill once completed.

Students can access their Degree Audit by clicking on the "My Undergraduate Degree Plan (DARS)" link in RAMweb. Students are also able to view a What-If degree audit, through the same link, to display how their credits would be used to fulfill another major's requirements.
