Auditing a Course

To audit a course, a student must first get prior approval of the instructor, register for the course, complete the Student Option Pass/Fail and Audit Grading Form, obtain the instructor's signature, and submit the form to the Registrar's Office no later than the end of the course add/drop period.

A successfully completed audited course doesn't earn a traditional grade or credits, and will appear on the student’s academic records with a grade of AU. Audits do not count for full-time status, for loan deferments, financial aid, etc. Courses with a grade of AU are not eligible to receive the College Opportunity Fund (COF) stipend.

All applicable tuition and fees are assessed for audited credits.
